Here you can see a sample of my personal and commission work. 

Having been fortunate to retire early from a career  helping multi-national companies improve their businesses, I decided to join my local Camera Club and improve my skills as a photographer.

What you will see within these pages is a small sample of my work.

Photography had always been a passion, but somehow I never had the time to  take it seriously.
The images you will see are those taken over the last few years, Some have been well received in competitions, others I just like. 

One of the best pieces of advice I received when starting out was:

 "Regardless of what others think, if you like the Image, it's a good image. It doesn't matter how others judge it"

Based south of Manchester, in Cheshire, the majority of my work is self-initiated. It is focused on capturing images of which I am interested - primarily Nature & Sport - though I will take photos of literally anything that catches my attention and makes a good image. 

I accept commission work, depending on the subject, though I am primarily working for my own satisfaction and enjoyment.

I am currently President of Bramhall Photographic Society in Cheshire. The Society meets weekly on Monday evenings and has a varied programme of talks, competitions and demonstrations.
